INTRODUCTION

Camping Hellas is a family business situated 17 km away from the city of Volos next to the traditional village of Kato Gatzea.

It lies at the foot of Mt Pelion in a picturesque location combining the rich green of the mountains with the blue of the seas. The campsite site is set in a 500 year-old olive grove right next to the beach. In 1965 Uncle Yannis and his son-in-low Stelios chose this ideal location for their little taverna.

During the summer, some foreign tourists asked if they could camp near the taverna and use the facilities. Following their grandfathers’ footsteps, Antonis and Aristea continue this hospitality today in a fully modernized campsite but with the same respect to the natural environment and Greek family values.

Due to its magnificent location Camping Hellas offers excellent opportunities for people of all ages. Our guests include families, couples, groups and individuals who choose to spend their holidays quietly, enjoy the simple life by the sea, the relaxing atmosphere and the opportunities for activities and adventure offered in abundance in the surrounding area. Join us from April to October.
